La cérémonie s’est déroulée dans la nuit du mardi 12 septembre au 13 septembre 2023.
Le mardi 12 septembre 2023 a été consacré à la soirée des MTV Music Awards. L’édition de cette année s’est déroulée à Newark dans le New Jersey. Avec Nicki Minaj à la présentation, la cérémonie a distinction a livré tour à tour le nom du lauréat de chaque catégorie La nouveauté de cette année a été l’ajout d’une catégorie pour l’afrobeat.
Taylor Swift, grande lauréate
